ACCESSIBILITY

Last Updated: September 2026

The Mid South Business Exchange (MSBX), an initiative of the Southaven Chamber Foundation, is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We believe access to business education, resources, and opportunities should be available to everyone, and we are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of msbusinessexchange.com.

Our Accessibility Goal

MSBX is working toward improving the accessibility of this website in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

WCAG is an internationally recognized accessibility standard developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The guidelines address accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities and are designed to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

We are continuing to evaluate and improve the MSBX website and do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Our Accessibility Efforts

As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, MSBX is working to:

  • Provide meaningful alternative text for informative images
  • Maintain clear and logical page and heading structures
  • Provide descriptive link text
  • Maintain appropriate color contrast and readable text
  • Support keyboard navigation
  • Improve the accessibility of forms and interactive elements
  • Review multimedia and embedded content for accessibility considerations
  • Evaluate pages using automated accessibility testing tools as well as manual review
  • Address accessibility issues as they are identified

Accessibility will also be considered as new pages, resources, workshops, podcasts, and other content are added to the MSBX website.

Known Limitations and Ongoing Improvements

The MSBX website contains a growing collection of content, including images, podcasts, videos, documents, interactive elements, and content provided through third-party services.

Some existing content or website components may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals.

We are conducting an ongoing review of the website and will work to address identified accessibility issues. Improvements may include image alternative text, color contrast, keyboard accessibility, document accessibility, multimedia accessibility, and other issues identified through testing and visitor feedback.

Third-party websites, embedded content, registration systems, and other external services linked from MSBX may have accessibility features or limitations that are outside our direct control.

Feedback and Accessibility Assistance

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of the MSBX website.

If you experience difficulty accessing information or using a feature of msbusinessexchange.com, please contact us. When possible, please include the web address of the page and a brief description of the issue you encountered.

We will make reasonable efforts to review accessibility concerns and provide the information or assistance you need.
